It differs from the standard bogie mainly by its suspension, disc brake and longitudinal inter-axle coupling to improve running characteristics.
• The bogie contains also a damper of yawing movements for increased speeds up to 140 km/h.
• Reduced wheel wear up to 30 %.
• Reduction of dynamic effects on the track.
• Higher safety against derailment when compared to Y25 by reduction of steering forces.
• Suspension without application of atypical materials in the primary suspension.
