KING PIN HITCH
The king pin hitch is a key component for secure anchoring of semi-trailers in basket and pocket wagons. In combination with crash elements and 1g buffers, it forms the so-called king pin safety concept, which enhances safety and stability of a semi-trailer during transport. Thanks to this solution, there is no need for additional securing of the semi-trailer using stops within the wagon, which also simplifies handling and speeds up the loading process. TATRAVAGÓNKA a.s. has optimised the design of the standard king pin hitch. The result is a simpler and more robust construction, which also provides space for integration and future adaptation of telematic technologies.
Rail TWISTLOCK ™
is a mechanical coupling device designed to securely fasten shipping containers and swap bodies to a flat railway wagon and lock them in the vertical direction. The principle is simple – slide it in and turn by 90° – ensuring fast, safe and versatile handling of standardised ISO containers. The system is retractable – the locking pin head slides under the loading platform and meets any requirements for floor integrity. The locking pin guide is designed to withstand a dynamic loading of 2g in the longitudinal direction. Rail TWISTLOCK ™ is the first TSI-approved container coupling device designed for rail freight transport.
AXLE BOX TVP1 Light
Applicable for 2-axle bogies of Y25 group for freight wagons. Reduction of weight compared to the standard 25 t axle box by 10 kg. Optimised design for hot axle box detection. Full compatibility with TVP1 axle box.
AXLE BOX BA 388 (shortened)
Applicable for 2- and multiple-axle running gear wagons and for 3-axle bogies. Reduced guiding enables wide application also in wagons with spatial limitations in the area of wheelset guiding. Optimised design for hot axle box detection. Full compatibility with BA388, BA381, BA088 and BA188 axle boxes.
